Great news! The 24th Pan American Congress of Digestive Endoscopy will be held with the 2nd World Congress of GI Endoscopy in Rio de Janeiro, March 7-10, 2020.
The news was communicated by WEO, SOBED (Sociedade Brasileira de Endoscopia Digestiva) and SIED (Interamerican Society of Digestive Endoscopy) leadership during the 17 Semana Brasileira do Aparelho Digestivo which was held with the 36 Semana Panamericana de las Enfermedades Digestivas (SBAD/SPED 18), 17-20 November in Sao Paulo. Jean-Francois Rey (WEO President), Flávio Hayato Ejima (SOBED President), Jairo Silva Alves (SOBED President Elect 2018-2019) and Asadur Tchekmedyian (SIED President) invited all attendees to plan ahead and take advantage of this unique opportunity that will bring together the world of endoscopy in Latin America.
Executive committee members of WEO and the co-hosting society, SOBED, have expressed their enthusiasm about this new level of collaboration. “Through SIED’s increased involvement, participants will benefit from additional scientific tracks in Spanish, reinforcing the special focus of the meeting to address the needs of the region,” explained Jean-Francois Rey. “We are looking ahead to a unique chance of learning about innovative and traditional practices and concepts from specialists with very diverse perspectives”.
Important dates to remember: ENDO 2020 registration opens on January 15, 2019, and abstract submission will open on March 4 and close on September 8, 2019.
