We are very excited to announce that the World Endoscopy Organization (WEO), Asian Pacific Society of Digestive Endoscopy (A-PSDE), and Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES) will offer grants to selected authors of abstracts accepted by the ENDO 2020 reviewing committee. The grants will offer successful candidates free registration for the congress and limited support for travel costs.

Abstracts must be completed and submitted to ENDO 2020 following the regular abstract submission process. Once accepted, three authors will receive the WEO Best Abstract Awards and will also be given the unique opportunity to present their research during the first day of the ENDO 2020 symposium on March 7, 2020. Expert committees from A-PSDE and JGES will select their grantees from young doctors working in their corresponding regions: Japan for the JGES grants, and Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Iran, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam for the A-PSDE grants.

The goal of the grant program is to encourage a global network for the growing community of young endoscopists. Attendance at conferences is an essential part of professional development for young doctors. The knowledge and networking experiences that conferences offer can be great career-advancing tools!

Successful candidates will be announced in December 2019.
