April 29, 2019
WEO members from all over the world will come to San Diego to update their knowledge and attend high-quality sessions to gain practical and useful take-home information.
At the 50th annual Digestive Disease Week® (DDW), WEO will highlight the latest news about ENDO 2020 and make more exciting announcements and results from our committee meetings. With access to cutting-edge research and networking with opinion leaders, WEO will further strengthen its presence, with a booth at DDW 2019 and also committee and working group meetings to discuss a wide range of topics.
WEO’s Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Screening Committee meeting, led by Professor Linda Rabeneck, will be held prior to the international event on May 17, 2019. CRC Screening Committee meetings take place regularly several times a year, and well-established annual meetings are held the day before DDW in the USA, and the day before United European Gastroenterology Week (UEG Week) in Europe. At the upcoming meeting in San Diego, participants will discuss recent advances in science and technology, covering different aspects from FIT to family history, and we will also pay tribute to Professor Wendy Atkin. To view the current program, please view here.
Other WEO committees will also meet at DDW to discuss proposals and the many ongoing projects of the Organization on research, education, and improvement of endoscopic quality in different regions of the world.
We look forward to seeing you at our WEO booth (no. 1243), where we will be happy to share with you the benefits of a WEO Individual Membership and upcoming WEO events, including exciting ENDO 2020 News.
