The World Congress of Gastroenterology is held every 4 years. Applications to host a World Congress can only be considered from member societies. Final ratification of the venue of a World Congress is by the General Assembly of the World Gastroenterology Organisation.
The next World Congress of Gastroenterology, “Gastro 2013 APDW/WCOG Shanghai”, will take place 21-24 September 2013 in Shanghai, China!
"Gastro 2013 APDW/WCOG Shanghai” will be co-organized through a collaboration of the Asian Pacific Digestive Week Federation (APDWF), Chinese Societies of Digestive Diseases (CSDD), World Endoscopy Organization (WEO) and the World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO).
