The Voice of World Endoscopy

How I Do It

A series of articles on how the experts perform challenging endoscopic techniques. A world leader in each subject gives an indepth, didactic description of the way he or she performs the procedure including the equipment and material used. A second international expert comments on the technique and how others may approach the problem, whilst a third expert provides a summary. This series presents personal guidelines which will help every endoscopist engaged in performing these valuable endoscopic techniques.

Endoscopy is an ever-changing science undergoing continual development. Research and clinical experience are continually expanding our knowledge. Insofar as the ‘How I Do It’ articles mention any application or procedure, readers may rest assured that the authors, editors, and publishers have made reasonable effort to ensure that such references are in accordance with the state of knowledge at the time of production of the article.

Nevertheless, this does not involve, imply, or express any guarantee or responsibility on the part of the authors or publishers in respect to any instructions and forms of application stated in the articles. Any endoscopic procedure should be performed by those with appropriate training and experience.
