The DEN special report includes a position statement from the World Endoscopy Organization (WEO) on “Principles and practice to facilitate complete photodocumentation of the upper gastrointestinal tract,” guidelines from the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES) for colorectal endoscopic submucosal dissection/endoscopic mucosal resection, and seven more review articles.

Digestive Endoscopy (DEN) is the official journal of the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society, the Asian Pacific Society for Digestive Endoscopy, and the World Endoscopy Organization. Digestive Endoscopy is a medium for presenting original articles that offer significant contributions to knowledge in the broad field of endoscopy. The journal also includes reviews, “How I Do It” articles, case reports (only those of exceptional interest and innovation are accepted), letters, “Techniques and Images” features, abstracts, and news items relevant to GI endoscopy.
