World Endoscopy Organization (WEO) Grants and Best Abstract Awards
WEO will award a USD 1000 grant to the submitting authors of the ten highest overall scoring abstracts. Authors must be 40 years old or younger at the time of the application and must hold individual membership of WEO. (And also see, in this newsletter, how you might be eligible for free individual membership of WEO.)
The authors of the three highest-scoring works will be invited to give an oral presentation of their abstracts during the ENDO 2022 Opening Symposium on the first day of the congress, Friday, May 13, 2022. Those three WEO Best Abstract Awards celebrate the legacies of Professor René Lambert (France), Professor Meinhard Classen (Germany), and WEO’s mission at large.
