“The WEO International School of EUS (WISE) has been an excellent way to reinforce and ground the knowledge acquired during my endosonography training. It is an excellent course, very well designed and comprehensive, offering training from basic anatomy to the configuration of the image in the equipment, in selection of materials, in techniques, and even in tips and tricks for therapeutic procedures. At any time, there is always sufficient opportunity to resolve any questions with answers directly provided by world-renowned experts in the field.

I had the privilege to visit Seoul, as one of the three winners of the WISE Case conference during ENDO 2022, in order to attend the EUS Summit in person. The EUS Summit in Korea is the pinnacle of the experience and knowledge obtained in the course. The Summit stretches over 2 days, and in a magnificent venue it exposes participants, in a modular and well-structured way, to state-of-the-art endoscopic ultrasound indications, tissue/sample acquisition, to the more complex and therapeutic procedures including those that are novel and exploratory. All the lectures and live cases have been excellent, with world experts.  The question and answer sessions at the end of each section were very useful and we even had the opportunity to learn from an expert pathologist who was present at these sessions.

The EUS Summit is also the optimal opportunity to meet and share experiences with young EUS enthusiasts and experts from around the world.

I truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the WEO International school of EUS and to attend the EUS Summit in Korea. Course founder and director, Professor Dong Wan Seo’s commitment to quality education within the WISE program and the meeting is truly admirable.

If you are reading this and you are interested in endoscopic ultrasound, do not hesitate to benefit from this valuable opportunity offered by the WEO and Professor Seo. It is a very special honor as well as an enriching and encouraging experience for anyone who enjoys learning and practicing endoscopic ultrasound.”
