WEO International School of EUS (WISE) Egyptian Chapter 2022

Building on the strength of WISE and in accordance to WISE program objectives, WEO is happy to announce that a similar course focusing on hands-on training, The WISE Egyptian Chapter 2022, will commence in December 2022. This course will focus on linear EUS and comprised of lectures by international experts, case presentations with discussion and hands on training on live cases (aiming for 50-60 EUS cases over the course). The main objective of this course is to train young endoscopists to be independent endosonographers at the end of the course, with the ability to do diagnostic EUS efficiently.

This course will be under direction and supervision of WISE course founder and director Prof Dong-Wan Seo and Dr Elsayed Ghoneem, Lecturer of gastroenterology, Mansoura University, who is the Egyptian moderator of the course. This course is jointly organized by WEO and Egyptian Liver Research Institute and Hospital (ELRIAH) under the patronage its CEO, Prof. Gamal Shiha, Prof of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Mansoura University.
