Research Program
The Research Program connects members who have research ideas or data with people who want to work on them.
Selected Research Mentors open study groups based on their areas of interest, such as:
- Pancreatobiliary
- Third space
- Bariatric
- ERCP
- EUS
Members can apply to groups that match their interests. Each Mentor selects their group members and decides how the group works.
A Mentor may bring a project that needs a team, or a member may bring their own research idea or data to the group.
The aim is simple: make it easier for WEO members to find trusted research collaborators and turn ideas into publications.
Mentorship Program
Coming soon, the Mentorship Program will connect WEO members with experienced colleagues who can share practical guidance based on their own journey.
Mentorship may cover:
- Research and publishing
- Fellowships and exams
- Career questions
- Technical and clinical guidance
Selected Mentors will offer a limited number of one-to-one mentorship places. Members can apply, and each Mentor will choose their mentees and decide how the mentorship runs.
Who Can Join?
AlumniHub is open to all active WEO members.
A WEO-branded training background is not required to participate in the Research Program, but it may be considered when Mentors select their groups.
