Program for Endoscopic Teachers (PET) Colombia 2026 is a full-day educational course taking place on August 13, 2026, in Pereira, Colombia, one day before the endoTOUR ACED Colombia. The WEO course is organized in collaboration with SIED and ACED and brings together international and regional experts in endoscopy education.

Designed for experienced endoscopists involved in teaching and training, PET focuses on developing practical teaching skills through an interactive format that combines educational principles with real-world endoscopy training.

PET Colombia 2026 marks an important milestone as the first WEO educational course to be delivered entirely in Spanish, making the PET more accessible to endoscopy educators across Latin America.

Course Format

The program combines a variety of educational activities throughout the day, including:

• Interactive discussions on teaching and learning in endoscopy
• Educational sessions on training methodologies, competency assessment, quality, and innovation
• Live case discussions highlighting the teacher–trainee relationship and effective feedback
• Hands-on workshops using endoscopy simulators and training models
• Faculty-led roundtable discussions on translating educational concepts into everyday training practice
