Small Bowel Advanced Course

WEO is pleased to endorse the Small Bowel Advanced Course, an online on-demand program developed by the Sociedad Interamericana de Endoscopia Digestiva (SIED). This course provides a structured and practical update on the diagnosis and management of small bowel diseases.

Course Overview

The course includes 33 hours of online learning and is organized into three key areas:

• Capsule Endoscopy – from basic principles to advanced applications, including indications, complications, quality standards, and new technologies
• Enteroscopy – covering techniques, clinical decision-making, and therapeutic approaches
• Imaging & Prevalent Pathologies – focusing on common conditions such as bleeding, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, infections, tumors, and microbiota-related disorders

The content is designed to be practical and clinically relevant and combines essential knowledge with current updates such as AI and evolving diagnostic strategies.
