We are delighted to share the success of the scientific conference held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on February 13–14, 2025. This event was organized through the collaboration of the Gastro-Intestinal Task Force Asia Pacific (GITAP), Women in Gastroenterology Network Asia Pacific (WIGNAP), and the Thai Association for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (TAGE).
The conference was tailored for endoscopists and endoscopy nurses. It included hands-on workshops with TAGE training models, live demonstrations, and didactic lectures on ERCP and EUS. Delegates had the opportunity to participate in practical sessions covering ERCP, pseudocyst drainage, and EUS-guided fine-needle biopsy.
A total of 78 delegates from eight local hospitals attended the event. Seven live procedures were carried out during the demonstrations. This was a valuable opportunity for professionals to enhance their skills, expand their knowledge, and connect with others in the GI community.
