WEO VCEN Group honored at REFLECT 2025
REFLECT 2025 – the 6th International Symposium on Clinical and Technological Advances in Capsule-Based and Non-Invasive Diagnostics – took place in Nyborg, Denmark on 29–30 September 2025. This meeting brought together experts in gastroenterology, surgery, engineering, and AI.
A key moment this year was the special meeting between the WEO Video Capsule Endoscopy Network (VCEN) Working Group and the REFLECT community, with a warm welcome from iCARE, the international capsule endoscopy research group. To mark the occasion, WEO received a commemorative plaque – a gesture of respect and recognition. This growing partnership between WEO and iCARE is proudly supported by the Jinshan medical equipment company.
VCEN is at the heart of capsule-related progress. The network is led by Dr. Jean-Francois Rey, who warmly greeted the REFLECT participants on behalf of WEO.
Held across two full days, the program ranged from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and GI bleeding to AI-driven capsule projects, robotics, and next-generation hardware.
