December 2025: WEO Position Statement on Telementoring in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy

WEO has published a new position statement on Telementoring in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy in Digestive Endoscopy (DEN).

The statement looks at how telementoring can help train GI endoscopists, especially in places where experienced trainers are hard to reach. It covers both simulator-based learning for trainees and practical skills training for practicing endoscopists, making high-quality endoscopy education more accessible worldwide.
