This position statement, developed by the WEO Stomach and Duodenal Diseases Committee, addresses the role of endoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of superficial non-ampullary duodenal epithelial tumors (SNADETs). It presents 9 position statements on the diagnostic role of endoscopy, including duodenal inspection, high-definition endoscopy, and image-enhanced endoscopy, and 7 position statements on the management of SNADETs, including endoscopic resection and wound closure.
