General information: The WEO International School of EUS (WISE) is a state-of-the-art EUS training program focussed on teaching a specialized group of young doctors. WEO’s aim is to groom the selected trainees and to provide the necessary tools to become future leaders in the area of EUS. Under the direction of Professor Dong-Wan Seo and during the three modules of the one year program, WISE trainees will be exposed to the full spectrum of EUS training, from basic anatomy to interventional EUS. WISE courses will be comprised of lectures, case presentations and hands-on training using phantom and live animals, as well as observation of real human cases.
Three WISE modules will take place as follows:
Venue: The course will take place at the ASAN medical center in Seoul, South Korea, a renowned EUS hub. Here, an expert group of international trainers will ensure the quality of the training, with the help of first class lab facilities and advanced technical equipment.
