Understanding the indications and practical aspects of video capsule endoscopy
With an aim to create a comprehensive and structured video capsule endoscopy learning program, VCEN consists of a series of three webinars to cover different aspects of video capsule endoscopy, and a hybrid congress at the WEO Capsule Endoscopy Global Summit (WEO CEGS).

The Video Capsule Endoscopy Network (VCEN) collaborates closely with the iCARE Group, part of the VCE Special Working Group. Together, VCEN and the iCARE Group contribute to the planning and execution of VCE educational activities, supporting high-quality training and knowledge exchange in capsule endoscopy.
Under the leadership of Dr Jean‑Francois Rey, WEO has established the VCE Library, a structured collection of educational material used in Video Capsule training courses. During these courses, trainees learn how to apply VCE procedures in daily clinical practice.
WEO encourages Course Directors to make use of the VCE Library and its available educational resources. The library includes: Presentations on new technologies; Images and videos from real VCE cases; Quiz presentations to assess user competencies. All material is available upon request.
