General information: The WEO International School of EUS (WISE) founded in 2018, is a state-of-the-art EUS training program focused on teaching a specialized group of doctors in their early careers. WEO’s aim is to groom the selected trainees and to provide the necessary tools to become future leaders in the area of EUS. WEO is delighted to partner with the Asian EUS Group Korea and Asian EUS group for this important initiative. Under the guidance of course founder and director, Professor Dong-Wan Seo, WISE trainees will be exposed to the full spectrum of EUS training, from basic anatomy to interventional and advanced EUS. WISE courses will be comprised of lectures, case presentations and hands-on training using phantom and live animals, as well as observation of real human cases where applicable.

Training structure
Venue for onsite hands-on training:
The onsite hands-on training will take place at the ASAN medical center in Seoul, South Korea, a renowned EUS hub and a WEO Center of Excellence. Here, an expert group of international trainers will ensure the quality of the training, with the help of first-class lab facilities and advanced technical equipment.

EUS WISE WORKSHOP
We are very glad to announce that we have enhanced WISE program with the EUS WISE workshop. The aim of the workshop is to increase the accessibility and discussion about interesting cases and difficult procedures in EUS. WEO believes this activity will engage international experts to share their own experiences and best practices on how to perform EUS and manage patients with complex medical issues.
